Returning to the starting lineup for the first time at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 after a thigh injury, Dembele immediately shone in the crucial semi-final match against Real Madrid at MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford (New Jersey).
The French star assisted Fabian Ruiz for the opening goal in the 6th minute, before doubling the lead himself just three minutes later, making a significant contribution to PSG's crushing 4-0 victory.
"This was the first game where I had Dembele in top form," coach Enrique shared after the match. "He is a special player, a game-changer, and the hope of every fan. I hope we will have him again in the final."

In the semi-final match early this morning, PSG won 4-0 with a goal from Dembele, a brace from Fabian Ruiz, and a goal from Ramos to seal the 4-0 victory. With this resounding win, PSG advance to the final to face Chelsea, also at MetLife, at 2 AM on July 14th, Vietnam time.
If they defeat the English representative, PSG will complete a historic season, having already won Ligue 1, the French Cup, the French Super Cup and the Champions League.
"We are just one game away from making history and winning all the titles this season," emphasized coach Enrique. "That would mean a tremendous amount of money for the club, the players, and the fans."
