Mr. Do Quang Hien, also known as "Chairman Hien," is a very passionate supporter of Vietnamese football. At the 2024 ASEAN Cup, the former chairman of Hanoi FC even chartered a private jet to fly the relatives of Vietnamese national team players to Thailand to cheer them on in the second leg of the final.
Chairman Hien is known for his passion for developing Vietnamese football.
After the Vietnamese national team won the ASEAN Cup 2024, Mr. Hien generously rewarded the players from Hanoi FC and Hanoi Police FC. Prior to that, he had also awarded billions of dong to the Vietnamese national team for their victory in Southeast Asia's most prestigious tournament.
In Round 11 of the V-League 2024-2025, held at Hang Day Stadium, Mr. Do Quang Hien's business awarded 500 million VND to coach Kim Sang-sik when the South Korean strategist attended the match between Hanoi FC and Hoang Anh Gia Lai .
After winning the ASEAN Cup 2024, coach Kim Sang-sik quickly began selecting players for the Vietnamese national team.
Sharing his feelings, Coach Kim said: "I will continue to strive to contribute to the Vietnamese national team. I wish the people of Vietnam good luck, good health, and success in their work."
Along with coach Kim Sang-sik, the Vietnamese national team's coaching staff also received a reward of 500 million VND from Chairman Hien. After a short break, the coaching staff divided themselves to directly observe the matches of Round 11 of the V-League 2024-2025 to select and filter players in preparation for the training camp in March 2025.
