"I know that after my journey with Man City, I will stop, for sure. This has been decided very clearly," coach Pep Guardiola confided ahead of the new season with the Etihad team.
According to The Sun , the Spanish strategist's contract with Man City runs until 2027. However, the pressure of competing in Europe's fiercest tournament has made the 54-year-old coach feel tired even though he is the most successful person at Man City.

"It's quite tiring, especially when things aren't going well. I feel like a 75-year-old man now! I'm so down, everything hurts.
So, if I look at my biological age, maybe if I take the test, I will be younger. I hope after a while, I will be healthier than now," coach Pep Guardiola expressed.
"If things don't go well, the evening becomes more difficult, the day too. The job of a coach, I don't just say this for myself but for all my colleagues. Otherwise, you can't do the job.
"The pressure on your shoulders is huge and above all, you need people to help you see things in their true nature. You have to try to achieve stability when you have so many ups and downs and you have to do everything the hard way," the Spaniard added.
Ahead of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss revealed he struggled to keep his meals down. And as he enters his 10th season in charge of Man City, Guardiola is desperate to recapture the winning feeling with his team.
“I love failing. In this society where everything has to be perfect, where you have to post food on Instagram. Every day we have to prove that we are happy. Yes, I am sad, I fail, I lose. So what?
After I finish leading Man City, I don't know how long I will stop, one year, two years, three years, 10, 15 years, I don't know. But I will leave after a period of time with the team because I need to stop and focus on myself," the 54-year-old coach concluded.
