Storing rolled straw after rice harvest, serving livestock farming

Currently, Hue City is in the harvest period of the 2024-2025 Winter-Spring rice crop. Recently, the Department of Agriculture and Environment has deployed straw rolling machines and scientific and technical advances in collecting and processing straw, initially bringing positive results, contributing to minimizing negative impacts on the environment. However, the situation of burning straw in the fields still occurs.

Implementing the direction of the City People's Committee, the Department of Agriculture and Environment coordinated with Que Lam Group Joint Stock Company to support 1 ton of biological products to treat straw for localities. Accordingly, Huong Tra town, Huong Thuy, Quang Dien district, Phu Xuan district and Thuan Hoa district supported 2 quintals of products/locality, corresponding to 5 hectares.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment recommends that localities select agricultural cooperatives in the area to receive, distribute and promptly deploy the use of biological products. During the use process, localities are requested to notify the time and location of treatment to the technical staff of the Department of Cultivation and Plant Protection; the Agricultural Extension Center and Que Lam Group Joint Stock Company coordinate to provide direct guidance to people to effectively organize the implementation of the use of biological products to treat straw.
