Recently, the People's Committee of Hoa Vang commune held the launching ceremony of the "Common Textbook Cabinet". The program aims to spread the spirit of sharing and saving, aiming to ensure that 100% of students have enough textbooks in the new year.
Hoa Vang commune was merged from Hoa Phong and Hoa Phu communes of the old Hoa Vang district. This is a rural area, people's income mainly depends on agriculture . Difficult life and lack of resources make many parents worry about the cost and school supplies for their children in the new school year.
Faced with this reality, the People's Committee of Hoa Vang commune has launched a socialized program of "Shared Textbook Cabinets" to serve students from primary to high school in the area. With this form, students will be able to borrow books for free from the school library to study throughout the school year, then return them for future generations to continue using. This solution not only helps reduce the financial burden on parents, but also promotes the sustainable values of textbooks.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hoi - Member of BSR Board of Directors presented new books to students before the new school year.
For BSR, this is a humane, practical activity with strong spreading effects. This activity is also part of a series of social security programs, linking the enterprise's responsibility to the cause of education and the community. At the same time, the activity has contributed to fulfilling BSR's commitment to accompany and invest in education - a business for the community, creative and responsible.
With the practical significance of the program, BSR has sponsored 200 million VND to implement the program with the People's Committee of Hoa Vang commune. From the 2025-2026 school year, Hoa Vang commune will lend 15,171 textbooks, serving 1,254 students in 8 mountainous villages of the old Hoa Phu commune, while giving priority to providing books to all students who are children of policy households and families with difficult circumstances. From the 2026-2027 school year, the program will continue to be expanded, with the goal of meeting 100% of the textbook needs of students in the area.
