The title “Knight of Invention 2015–2025” honors Professor, Doctor, Honorary Doctor, Labor Hero Hoang Duc Thao, the Inventor who set a record for the most number of domestic patents/utility solutions and successful commercialization, contributing to enhancing the status of Vietnamese intellectual property and socio-economic development.
The Vietnam Invention Association also awarded the Certificate of Inventor to Honorary Professor, Doctor, and Academician, Labor Hero Hoang Duc Thao for his achievement of being granted 73 exclusive patents for inventions/utility solutions in the period 2016 - October 2025 in Vietnam.
At the same time, Honorary Professor, Doctor of Science, and Associate Professor, Hoang Duc Thao - Chairman of the Board of Directors, General Director of Vietnam Science and Technology Joint Stock Company - Busadco represented the company to receive the Certificate of Outstanding Technology Products from 2 inventions: Thin-walled non-metallic fiber reinforced concrete and Prefabricated dome frame house.
The title “Knight of Invention” is part of the IPSTAR 2025 Invention Star honor program of the Vietnam Invention Association. “Knight of Invention” is the author who has created many inventions/useful solutions that have been granted exclusive patents and are highly ranked in IPSTAR 2025. The inventions have been widely applied, bringing real value to the community.
“Knight of Invention” is a pioneer and has the spirit of overcoming difficulties in the process of invention as well as pursuing ideas from research to successful application, has received prestigious national and international awards and titles related to innovation and intellectual property, won major awards in science and technology, and been honored by professional organizations. ACHIEVEMENTS IN PRODUCTION, BUSINESS AND SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH: - Vietnam Science and Technology Joint Stock Company was equitized and renamed in 2018, the predecessor was Urban Drainage and Development Company Limited established in 2003. - As the General Director of the Company, for 22 years, AHLĐ Hoang Duc Thao has continuously strived to study and strive to lead the Company to achieve many achievements in production and business activities, especially in scientific research. - Honorary Professor, Doctor of Science, and Associate Professor, Hoang Duc Thao is the author of over 110 scientific and technological topics with over 100 scientific and technological products that have been certified as products and goods formed from the results of scientific and technological research. Products have been and are being deployed in Ca Mau, Tay Ninh, Khanh Hoa, Hung Yen provinces... + Civil construction field: Prefabricated houses made of non-metallic reinforced concrete... have been deployed in Ho Chi Minh City, Ca Mau, Vinh Long... - The company has created jobs for about 400 workers with an average salary of 8.8 million VND/month.
