Ho Chi Minh City Police honor 80 typical advanced models

In the solemn atmosphere celebrating the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Forces' Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), on the morning of August 19, Ho Chi Minh City Police held a ceremony to honor 80 typical, comprehensive and exemplary models in the period 2020 - 2025.

The ceremony was held at the "For a Peaceful Life" Monument (Au Lac Park) on Tran Phu Street, Cho Quan Ward, with the participation of Major General Ta Van Dep, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Police; Colonel Tran Thi Kim Phung, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Police; along with representatives of leaders of units and 80 individuals who were honored.

The 80 faces honored today are beautiful flowers selected from 495 typical advanced and comprehensive models of Ho Chi Minh City Police in the past 5 years.

These are vivid proofs of the bravery, dedication and creativity of police officers, contributing to the overall achievements of the entire force with 9,088 collectives and 70,824 individuals being commended at all levels in the period 2020 - 2025.

The 80 typical advanced and comprehensive examples present at today's honoring ceremony are the brightest flowers in the emulation flower forest of the entire heroic Ho Chi Minh City Police force.

Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Ta Van Dep emphasized that the patriotic emulation movement is always the driving force for each officer and soldier to strive and train. Ho Chi Minh City Police always identifies the building, nurturing and spreading of advanced models as a key task, with the motto "taking the positive, pushing back the negative", "taking the beautiful, eliminating the ugly".
