Explosive match of HCM City Police Club
Compared to previous matches, Coach Le Huynh Duc made some adjustments in terms of tactics and personnel. He arranged Duc Huy to play as a central midfielder with foreign player Peter, pushing Duc Phu, a player with a lot of energy, up high to support the attacking trio Lee Williams - Tien Linh - Quoc Cuong. In addition, the counter-attacking tempo of CA TP.HCM Club was also faster and more fierce than in previous matches. This change helped the home team cause Ninh Binh Club many difficulties.
Although Hai Duc helped Ninh Binh FC take the lead in the 5th minute, Ho Chi Minh City Police FC still played explosively to score 3 consecutive goals. In the 10th minute, Viet Hoang crossed the ball awkwardly, aiming at Tien Linh's position but the ball flew into the net, surprising Van Lam. Then, in the 17th and 45+1 minutes, Lee Williams and Duc Phu scored, helping Ho Chi Minh City Police FC take the lead 3-1. This excitement caused coach Le Huynh Duc's students to lose focus for a moment and were exploited by their opponents. In the 45+3 minute, Ninh Binh FC reduced the score to 2-3 after Hoang Duc's close-range header.

The goal helped the spirit of Ninh Binh Club players to be more excited. Hoang Duc and his teammates continuously put pressure, creating many opportunities towards Patrik Le Giang's goal. In the 89th minute, from Geovane's breakthrough effort, Quang Hung awkwardly scored an own goal, forcing the Vietnamese-American goalkeeper to go into the net to pick the ball for the 4th time.
In the end, Ninh Binh Club won 4-3, widening the gap with the second-placed Hanoi Police to 7 points. Meanwhile, Ho Chi Minh City Police Club ranked 5th with 11 points.
