Miss Ý Nhi missed out on Top 8 Top Model, losing the chance to go straight to Top 40

On the evening of May 24, the Top Model sub-competition of the Miss World 2025 contest took place in India. This is also a highly anticipated competition in the Miss World seasons.

The design is in pink tones, inspired by lotus flowers, with artistic folds and a high-slit skirt, showing off her long legs, helping Y Nhi feel more confident and comfortable to fully demonstrate her performance ability.

Y Nhi had a part to interact and express the idea of ​​the dress she wore. She also thanked the designer for creating this dress. Although Y Nhi's performance was highly appreciated, the Vietnamese representative was still not called into the top 8 of the Top Model competition.

In the end, the 4 beauties who won the Top Model competition in each region were the representatives of Namibia (Selma Kamanya), Martinique (Aurélie Joachim), India (Nandini Gupta), and Ireland (Jasmine Gerhardt). They continued to win 4 tickets to the top 40 of the Miss World 2025 contest.

Previously, 6 beauties who won the sub-contests of Miss Sports , Miss Talent, and Miss Eloquence, including representatives from Estonia, Indonesia, Turkey, Wales, Zambia, and Trinidad & Tobago, also entered the top 40 before the final round of Miss World 2025. Thus, the Miss World 2025 contest has determined 10 beauties to be in the final top 40.

Also on the evening of May 25, the Organizing Committee awarded 4 Best Costume Design awards to 4 representatives from: Puerto Rico (Valeria Pérez), Zoalise Jansen van Rensburg (South Africa), Ukraine (Maria Melnychenko), New Zealand (Samantha Poole).

The Miss World 2025 contestants will continue to enter the Charity Project round on May 26. Miss Ý Nhi will have the opportunity to present details of her Hope Bookshelf project to the jury and investors. This is also the last chance for the Vietnamese representative to be able to go straight to the top of this year's contest.

The Miss World 2025 pageant is nearing its end and the finale will take place on May 31 in India. The judges will select the top 40 from four continents, then decide the top 20, top 8 and top 4. Each continent will have one winner, then compete for the positions of Miss World and 3 runners-up.

The current holder of the Miss World crown is the representative of the Czech Republic - Krystyna Pyszková. At the Miss World 2024 contest, the representative of Vietnam - Huynh Nguyen Mai Phuong - stopped in the top 40.

Huynh Tran Y Nhi (born 2002) is 1.75m tall, has a harmonious face and an impressive academic record. She is a student of Business Administration, International University - Ho Chi Minh City National University. After winning the crown, Y Nhi chose to withdraw for a long time to study abroad in Australia.

Y Nhi has made great efforts throughout her journey at the Miss World 2025 pageant. The beauty always tries to interact with the media, bring positive energy and score points in every small action.

Indian media also praised Y Nhi. Missosology currently predicts that Y Nhi will be in the top 10 of this year's contest. This year's contest has 108 contestants.
