White lilies are characteristic of April – the transitional period from spring to summer – and are therefore favored by many people.

Understanding market demand, people in Phu Lien flower village have introduced this flower variety for cultivation, initially yielding high economic returns.

Phu Lien flower village, already famous for growing chrysanthemums, marigolds, peach blossoms, etc., now boasts the addition of lilies, further enhancing the charm and unique character of this long-standing flower-making village.

Thanks to years of experience in growing and caring for flowers, even though they have only recently taken root in Phu Lien soil, the trumpet flowers are growing and developing well.

It takes 5-6 months for lilies to grow and be ready for harvest, but in return, they yield high economic value. Locals sell them for 5,000-7,000 VND per flower, with each stem fetching 50,000-70,000 VND.

What sets lilies from Phu Lien flower village apart is that they are planted year-round, regardless of the varying weather conditions between seasons. This demonstrates the high level of intensive farming expertise among flower growers in Phu Lien.

Farmers grow lily seedlings from bulbs to ensure a continuous supply for future harvests. After harvesting the flowers, they will plant the next crop.
