In recent years, lilies have become one of the main crops of the famous flower-growing village of Phù Liễn, Nam Sách commune (Hai Phong).

Thanks to years of experience in growing and caring for flowers, even though they have only recently taken root in Phu Lien soil, the trumpet flowers are growing and developing well.

It takes 5-6 months for lilies to grow and be ready for harvest, but in return, they yield high economic value. Locals sell them for 5,000-7,000 VND per flower, with each stem fetching 50,000-70,000 VND.

What sets lilies from Phu Lien flower village apart is that they are planted year-round, regardless of the varying weather conditions between seasons. This demonstrates the high level of intensive farming expertise among flower growers in Phu Lien.
