The collection of nearly 70 paintings on cowhide titled "Promise for Next Season" by artist Trinh Thang is currently on display at the exhibition "Unveiling Secrets - Promise for Next Season" (taking place at the Cultural and Arts Center, 22 Hang Buom Street, Hanoi ).
The exhibition space is divided into three main components: Fundamental Teachings, Maternal Nature, and Maternal Nature . According to the author, this is not just a way of arranging the content, but also a spiritual journey with three corresponding dimensions: the foundation of life, inner wisdom, and compassion.
In the section on Fundamental Doctrines , artist Trinh Thang addresses core values that help people maintain direction amidst life's vicissitudes. The author argues that every person, regardless of cultural tradition or ideology, needs a spiritual foundation to support them on their life journey. This is also the dimension of "Great Courage"—inner steadfastness to complete one's chosen path.
The exhibition focuses on the qualities associated with the image of a Mother, such as wisdom, gratitude, and humility. The Mother figures in the exhibition are approached as symbols of the opening of consciousness and the nurturing of spiritual life – manifestations of the "Great Wisdom" lineage.
Meanwhile, the author opens up reflections on the venerable saints, the Buddhas, and the qualities of "great compassion and loving-kindness." According to the author, when one reaches a deeper understanding, one will become less attached and more open to differences.

These three components are interconnected as a continuous journey, from building a foundation for life and developing intellect to nurturing compassion in relationships with oneself and the community.
Open exhibition with multi-dimensional interaction.
What makes "Unveiling the Secrets - A Promise for Next Season" special is its openness and multi-dimensional interaction between the author and the viewers. Instead of just enjoying it visually, viewers can leave questions, feelings, or personal reflections related to the journey of "A Promise for Next Season ."
Artist Trinh Thang will directly participate in meetings and discussions with the audience to share about the creative process as well as the layers of meaning behind his works. According to him, each person will have their own approach and feelings when entering the exhibition space.

The exhibition attracted a large number of artists and members of the public.
Unveiling the secrets - The "Promise for Next Season" exhibition is open until June 21, 2026. Prior to this, the "Promise for Next Season" art collection was showcased at the Vietnam Fine Arts Exhibition House (16 Ngo Quyen, Hanoi).
While the previous exhibition presented nearly 70 works in a free and unbiased manner, at the 22 Hang Buom Cultural and Arts Center, the space has been restructured into a more purposeful journey, encouraging viewers to reflect on and engage in dialogue with the artworks as well as with their own selves.
