The movie "Getting Rich with Ghosts" is still the top movie at the Vietnamese box office. As of noon on September 6, the movie has earned 73 billion VND. It is likely that next week, the project will reach the hundred billion mark.
The film is a film project marking the return of Hoai Linh. This is also the first time he collaborates with Tuan Tran.
"Getting Rich with Ghosts" is a story about father-son love - between Mr. Dao (Meritorious Artist Hoai Linh) and Lanh (Tuan Tran).
In the film, besides the humorous scenes, there is also a scene that attracts the attention of the audience. That is the scene where Mr. Dao beats Lanh until his head bleeds - one of the climaxes of the film.
In this scene, Lanh tries to hug his father to apologize. However, Mr. Dao still struggles to beat him with a broom. It seems that Lanh has made a big mistake that made Mr. Dao so angry and resentful. Lanh can only sit still and endure the beating as if to make up for his mistake, while the ghost of Na (Diep Bao Ngoc) stands next to him, continuously crying, begging him to reveal the truth to his father.
However, Lanh remained silent. Perhaps, he would rather suffer his father's beating than reveal the more painful truth to him. After his anger subsided, Mr. Dao realized that he had accidentally hit his son until his head bled. Only then did he burst into tears because he regretted being too harsh.
If Lanh was hurt once, the father was hurt ten times, he blamed himself. The character's image of "You killed your child, Dao" made an impression on the audience.
Tuan Tran revealed: “This is one of the most emotional scenes in the film, and also the scene that impressed Tuan the most. At that moment, Tuan and 'father' Hoai Linh seemed to be immersed in the two characters. When being beaten, Tuan felt exactly like Lanh, feeling little pain on the outside, but more pain in his heart because he felt like he made his father sad and disappointed.”
