In particular, the Quartermaster Department (General Department of Logistics - Technology) has issued enough K20 field uniforms and 1 set of field uniforms according to the newly approved model to the units wearing field uniforms. The distribution has ensured 1 quota/person for the following units: Navy, Air Defense - Air Force, Border Guard and Logistics - Technical training units.

For the blocks wearing ceremonial uniforms and K24 officer uniforms (command vehicles and flag teams; honor blocks of the three military services; male and female military bands; officer blocks and officer cadet blocks of military schools), military uniforms are currently being produced, initially using the existing A70, A50 ceremonial uniforms and K24 uniforms.

For the Southern female guerrillas, the male militia has ensured enough training uniforms. As for the Vietnamese ethnic female militia, it has been assigned to Military Region 4 to purchase and ensure. Currently, Military Region 4 has ensured 1 set of approved ethnic costumes, ready to wear during the training as directed by the Organizing Committee to gain experience.

In the coming days, the General Department of Logistics and Technology will actively direct and inspect the work of ensuring food and drink according to prescribed standards for soldiers; continue to provide military uniforms to units according to plan, ensuring quality and progress.

Implement well the work of disease prevention, food hygiene and safety, prevention of sunstroke and heatstroke. Organize timely medical examination, medicine distribution and treatment for subjects, ensure the highest number of healthy soldiers for training units. Ensure adequate equipment, electricity and water for the daily life of soldiers in the housing areas as well as the training areas of the units.

Guide, inspect, and urge units to speed up the progress of painting military vehicles, ensuring quality, form, and progress according to regulations. Direct units to do a good job of preparing for logistics, technical mobility, and forces to carry out the tasks of general training, preliminary review, general rehearsal, and official ceremony according to plan.

Speaking at the conference, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia acknowledged and commended the forces for their efforts, overcoming difficulties, and successfully completing assigned tasks in the past time; requested the forces to continue reviewing and completing all preparations and training with the goal of ensuring that the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2 take place solemnly, meaningfully, smoothly, and with the highest efficiency.

For the sea parade, the Navy closely coordinated with relevant forces to study and adjust the ship formation flexibly, optimize the travel route, and increase visual effects for people to easily follow.

Agencies and units must ensure good logistics and techniques, focusing on the safety of people, equipment and weapons during training and maneuvering, especially in stormy weather conditions. Party committees and commanders of parade and marching training units must pay attention to and take care of the material and spiritual lives of officers and soldiers, creating motivation for soldiers to receive and complete all assigned tasks well.
