Cam Pha Port and Logistics Company: Opening of training for self-defense forces in 2025

On the morning of September 22, the Military Command of Cam Pha-Vinacomin Port and Logistics Company held the opening ceremony of the 2025 self-defense training. Attending and directing were comrade Pham Van Khoi, Deputy Commander of the Military Command of Vietnam National Coal-Mineral Industries Group; Lieutenant Colonel Tran Thang Long, Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of the Defense Command of Region 4-Ha Long; and representatives of the specialized agencies of the Provincial Military Command.

During the 7 days, 40 comrades from the local self-defense force studied and learned some contents about Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh's thought as the ideological foundation and guideline for the revolutionary actions of the Party and the Vietnamese revolution; closely combining economics , culture, society with national defense and security in building and protecting the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland; propaganda and mobilization work of the militia and self-defense force to participate in solving some complicated situations in the locality; individual team movements without guns, physical training and some contents about people's military intelligence; general understanding of nuclear, chemical, biological weapons, incendiary weapons, high-tech weapons.

Comrade Cao Van Chuan, Deputy Director, Commander of the Military Command of Cam Pha Port and Logistics Company - Vinacomin, delivered the opening speech.

In addition, the militiamen studied wound dressing, temporary fixation of fractures, temporary hemostasis of wounds, general resuscitation; management and preservation of equipped weapons and equipment; militiamen on duty to prevent and fight floods, storms, floods, natural disasters, forest fires; infantry gun techniques, grenades, mines, explosives, camouflage fortifications, homemade weapons, martial arts, squad tactics, militiamen and self-defense platoons to protect targets when there is disturbance or riot. At the end, the company's Military Command organized a live-fire test with AK submachine guns.

In his opening speech, Comrade Cao Van Chuan, Deputy Director, Commander of the Military Command of Cam Pha Port and Logistics Company - Vinacomin, emphasized: Through training, the company's self-defense force's combat readiness is enhanced, thereby meeting the requirements of local defense and military tasks.

At the same time, he suggested that this training session follow the motto "Basic, practical, quality" training from low to high, from simple to complex; self-defense comrades participating in the training must have a firm grasp of basic knowledge about techniques and tactics of each individual and squad; strictly follow the discipline of the training ground; strive to achieve the test results as required and ensure absolute safety.
