By the morning of October 5, the water in the flooded area of ​​Kim Tan had receded, almost all rural traffic routes were open, only a few low-lying areas were still partially flooded (about more than 50cm). Thousands of households had returned home to clean up after the flood.

Nearly 300 officers and soldiers of Division 390 spread to nearly 50 villages and hamlets to help people overcome the consequences.

Lieutenant Colonel Tong Duy Vien, Deputy Commander of Regiment 48 (Division 390) said: In nearly 1,000 working days, soldiers helped local people clean up nearly 20km of inter-village roads, 12 schools of all levels, 12 cultural houses, 4 medical stations, 5 martyr cemeteries...

In addition, nearly 200 policy households and families with special difficulties were also helped by soldiers.
