Hanoi is dry in the morning, but rain increases in the evening.

According to the Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, early on the morning of October 6, storm No. 11 entered mainland China, a few dozen kilometers north of Mong Cai ( Quang Ninh ).

After making landfall, the storm's circulation quickly weakened into a tropical depression. This morning, the coastal areas of Quang Ninh and the Quang Ninh - Lang Son border area had gusts of level 6-7, some places had stronger gusts, but no longer dangerous winds.

In Hanoi, the weather this morning is relatively stable, cloudy, no rain. From around noon, scattered rain began to appear and gradually increased in the afternoon.

Heavy rain is possible over a wide area tonight and tonight, but is unlikely to cause major flooding like the previous rains. Temperatures range from 25–28°C, humidity is high above 85%.

Northern mountainous region has heavy rain, warning of landslides and flash floods

Storm No. 11's circulation continues to cause very heavy rain in the midland and mountainous areas of the North. The peak of rain is forecast from this afternoon to tonight, concentrated in Cao Bang, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang and Lao Cai, places located on the western and northwestern edges of the storm's circulation.

Quang Ninh, Lang Son, Bac Kan and Ha Giang provinces have had early rain since last night, with some areas recording 70-100 mm of rainfall. The meteorological agency warned of a high risk of flash floods and landslides in mountainous districts, especially in areas with steep terrain, weak soil or where landslides have occurred in previous rains.

Lang Son - Quang Ninh strong winds early in the day, need to be careful of falling trees and billboards

At 6am this morning, Lang Son and Quang Ninh areas recorded strong winds of level 7, gusting to level 8 due to the remaining tropical depression. Local authorities advised people to limit going out in the early morning, avoid areas with trees, billboards, and corrugated iron roofs that are susceptible to dangerous gusts of wind.

By noon, wind intensity is forecast to decrease rapidly, shifting to the South to Southeast direction with an average speed of 2-4 m/s.
