The Party, the State, the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense have adopted a policy of promoting military ranks and increasing salaries for the entire army's non-commissioned officers (one salary level) and the forces participating in the A80 mission (two salary levels). This is a practical measure of concern, demonstrating appreciation and timely recognition of the indispensable contributions of the non-commissioned officers.

In implementing the above policy, and acting on behalf of the Minister of National Defense, the Party committees at all levels of the Army Officer Training School 1 organized the awarding of promotion and salary increase decisions to nearly 1,000 non-commissioned officers, including many who directly participated in the A80 mission. This is not only a well-deserved reward but also a great encouragement, providing additional motivation and increasing income so that each non-commissioned officer can have a more stable life, continue to strive, and uphold the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the new era.

Captain Vu Manh Cuong, a driver in the Transport Vehicle Company, Logistics and Technical Department, Army Officer School 1, speaks at the decision-receiving ceremony.

Captain Vu Manh Cuong, a driver in the Transport Vehicle Company, Logistics and Technical Department, Army Officer School 1, shared: “On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd, being promoted in rank and receiving a salary increase is a great honor for me. This is not simply a reward, but a respectful recognition from the Party and the Army of our silent efforts and contributions over the past time. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Party, the State, and the Army for their attention to and improvement of the quality of life for the non-commissioned officers. The new rank is not only a source of pride, but also a motivation for me to continue to train, preserve, and promote the noble qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, contributing to building the Army in the new era.”

The Commander of the Logistics and Technical Department, Army Officer School 1, presented decisions on salary increases and promotions to the department's non-commissioned officers.

Amidst this shared joy, Lieutenant Colonel Tran Thi Phuong Thuy, a warehouse manager in the Logistics and Technical Department of the Army Officer School 1, emotionally shared: “I never thought I would be recognized in such a special and meaningful way. It is a profound mark on my military career, a great source of encouragement, and gives me more strength to strive and contribute more each day, worthy of the trust and expectations of my superiors.”

Lieutenant Colonel Tran Thi Phuong Thuy, a warehouse manager in the Logistics and Technical Department of the Army Officer School 1, receives the decision.

The awarding of promotion and salary increase decisions to the entire military's non-commissioned officers, including those at the Army Officer School 1, is a well-deserved recognition by the Ministry of National Defense of the silent contributions of these officers. This reward serves both as a morale booster and demonstrates a practical and timely policy of caring for the material and spiritual well-being of officers and soldiers throughout the army. Regardless of whether their duties are regular or extraordinary, whether they are on the front lines or behind the scenes – all contributions deserve to be appreciated and recognized. This moral and material encouragement not only motivates individuals but also spreads a positive spirit throughout the entire unit.
