Completion of site clearance work for Song Khoai Industrial Park Project Phase II

On December 28, according to information from the People's Committee of Quang Yen town, Quang Ninh province, at noon of the same day, the last 7 households whose land was to be recovered for the Song Khoai Industrial Park (IP) Phase II Project agreed to the compensation and site clearance support plan. Thanks to that, the locality did not have to carry out forced land recovery as planned.

Previously, on December 21 and 26, 2023, the head of the Quang Yen town government organized a dialogue with households who did not agree and were subject to forced land acquisition related to the land acquisition work of the Song Khoai Industrial Park Project Phase II. At the dialogue sessions, the leaders of the Quang Yen town People's Committee basically answered concerns and problems related to the compensation and support policy for land acquisition, creating consensus among households.

Thus, the Quang Yen town government has properly implemented the direction of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee in December 2023 to complete the site clearance work of the Song Khoai Industrial Park Project Phase II. Thereby, creating favorable conditions for the investor, Amata Urban Joint Stock Company, to conveniently complete the infrastructure and attract secondary investors.

Song Khoai Industrial Park Project is planned with a land use area of ​​714 hectares, divided into 5 phases, with a total investment of 155 million USD. Phase 2 of Song Khoai Industrial Park Project alone has a total reclaimed area of ​​over 120 hectares, involving 870 households in Quang Yen town.

In 2023, Song Khoai Industrial Park Phase I is one of the "bright spots" of Quang Ninh province in attracting FDI capital. In total, Song Khoai Industrial Park attracted 13 new FDI projects, adjusted 2 other FDI projects (increased capital by 5 million USD) with a total capital of more than 1.4 billion USD. Thereby, contributing to helping Quang Ninh province surpass the milestone of attracting more than 3.1 billion USD of FDI capital in the year, the highest ever .
