Speaking at the Conference, Chairman Do Van Chien respectfully thanked the elders, dignitaries, and comrades for taking the time to carefully study the documents and for contributing heartfelt, responsible, and insightful opinions on the contents that the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front presented for consideration at the Conference. The Standing Committee respectfully accepts as many of the Presidium's opinions as possible to finalize the documents to be submitted to the Conference of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Based on the discussions at the Conference, Chairman Do Van Chien emphasized four points raised by the delegates. Regarding the Regulations on the Operation of the Committee, the Presidium, and the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairman Do Van Chien stated that the Regulations on the Operation of the Committee, the Presidium, and the Standing Committee are extremely important documents, stipulating the principles, working regime, powers, and responsibilities of the Committee, the Presidium, and the Standing Committee in accordance with the Law on the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, in order to meet the requirements of strong innovation in content and methods of operation based on practical experience.

“With their rich practical experience, dedication, and responsibility, the elders, dignitaries, and comrades have contributed many valuable suggestions. The Standing Committee will direct the incorporation and refinement of the Regulations, ensuring that the activities of the Committee, the Presidium, and the Standing Committee are carried out in a synchronized, harmonious, and effective manner, thereby enhancing the substance of the Front's work in the coming period,” Chairman Do Van Chien emphasized.

Regarding the overall work program of the Presidium and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairman Do Van Chien stated that this is a guiding document of crucial importance to the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the 2024-2029 term. Many tasks have been added, alongside inherited tasks and the regular, recurring work of the Presidium and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

"The overall program serves as a framework; its implementation will be adjusted and supplemented to suit the general tasks of the Party and the State in each period," Chairman Do Van Chien stated clearly.

Regarding the establishment of advisory councils of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th term, 2024-2029, Chairman Do Van Chien informed that the Conference had heard reports on the number, structure, and composition of the advisory councils. The Presidium assigned the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to select and decide on the establishment of the advisory councils and to issue regulations on the organization and operation of the advisory councils, creating the most favorable conditions for the advisory councils to operate with increasingly high demands.

Chairman Do Van Chien affirmed that the effective operation of the Advisory Council will help the Vietnam Fatherland Front to better perform its functions of social supervision and criticism. This is a distinguishing feature that enables the Front to fulfill its mission. Specifically, the Presidium, and the Standing Committee, will provide guidance and formulate commissioned issues for the Advisory Councils and experts to provide feedback and suggestions; at the same time, the Standing Committee will research and issue policies that are appropriate to the activities of the Advisory Council.

"The activities of the Advisory Council must be linked to the activities of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, linked to the activities of specialized committees and assist these committees in fulfilling their political tasks; linked to the activities of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of provinces and cities, and linked to the activities of member organizations," Chairman Do Van Chien suggested.

Emphasizing that the members of the Advisory Council are all experienced, dedicated, objective, and honest individuals, Chairman Do Van Chien stated that if these strengths are combined and exploited, the Advisory Council of the Vietnam Fatherland Front will fulfill its assigned political tasks.

To leverage the strengths of the Advisory Council, Chairman Do Van Chien suggested several thematic topics for the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to commission, thereby maximizing the Council's strengths and innovating its activities in the new term.

These include topics such as: "The political, theoretical, practical, and legal foundations for building a law on people's supervision"; and "The noble mission of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the new era, striving to build a strong and prosperous nation."

Referring to the content of Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo, Chairman Do Van Chien emphasized the need to clarify the mission of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in implementing the Resolution and whether a nationwide campaign to advance into science and technology should be launched. He stressed that the Resolution's content is a powerful driving force and a breakthrough for the country to transform and enter a new era.

“At the 9th Extraordinary Session, the National Assembly voted to approve the Resolution supplementing the socio-economic development plan for 2025 with the goal of achieving a growth rate of 8% or higher. With its responsibility, what must the Vietnam Fatherland Front do to help the country achieve the set goals and, in the future, achieve double-digit growth?” Chairman Do Van Chien shared, suggesting several topics such as “The Vietnam Fatherland Front’s contribution to the documents of the 14th Party Congress” or “The Vietnam Fatherland Front’s implementation of the national unity strategy in the era of striving to build a strong and prosperous country”…

In that spirit, Chairman Do Van Chien proposed that, in the second quarter of 2025, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front should organize a workshop with the participation of the Standing Committee and leaders of the advisory councils to discuss and develop methods, with the hope that the advisory councils will provide practical suggestions on the content of these topics.

Emphasizing the successful conclusion of the 2nd Conference of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairman Do Van Chien respectfully requested that all elders, dignitaries, and comrades promote the spirit of unity, consensus, dedication, and wisdom as the core, spreading the results of the Conference to successfully organize the 3rd Conference of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, to be held on February 20th.
