On September 6, in Binh Phong Thanh town (Moc Hoa district), leaders of Long An province visited and presented scholarships, school supplies and bicycles to children in special and difficult circumstances on the occasion of the new school year 2024.

The program aims to provide timely support to children, contributing to encouraging, motivating and reducing some of the difficulties in studying and living. On the occasion of the beginning of the new school year 2024, the Long An Provincial Children's Support Fund awarded scholarships, tools, and bicycles to excellent students with special circumstances in the area.

According to the leader of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Long An province, caring for and protecting children not only demonstrates the sentiment and morality of the nation but is also the political responsibility of Party organizations, mass organizations, and the duty of every citizen, every family and the whole society.

To contribute to taking care of children in especially difficult circumstances, on the occasion of the new school year opening, Moc Hoa district received support from the Long An Province Children's Support Fund.

At the ceremony, the organizing committee awarded 20 scholarships (1.7 million VND including 1.5 million VND and 20 notebooks. In addition, the students also received 20 sets of school supplies and 10 bicycles.

At the beginning of the school year, there are many expenses, if there was no support, my husband and I would have to worry more so that our son would not be deprived when entering grade 5."
