Outstanding students in Hanoi receive the Kim Dong Award.

GD&TĐ - Nguyen Ngoc Gia Han, Head of the Student Union at Nguyen Tat Thanh Secondary and High School, was honored to receive the Kim Dong Award from the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

Recently, the Central Council of the Young Pioneers announced the list of 98 outstanding child delegates nationwide who were awarded the Kim Dong Prize for the 2025-2026 school year.

These vibrant flowers celebrate the 85th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Organization (May 15, 1941 - May 15, 2026), contributing to the dissemination of exemplary children's role models and inspiring Young Pioneers members throughout the province to continue striving, competing in learning and training, and becoming worthy children, excellent students, and good grandchildren of Uncle Ho in the new era.

Among them, Nguyen Ngoc Gia Han – the Team Leader of Nguyen Tat Thanh Secondary and High School ( Hanoi ) – is one of the Hanoi Youth Union members who had the honor of receiving the Kim Dong Award from the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

Besides her outstanding academic achievements, Gia Han is also an active participant in youth group activities, cultural and artistic movements, and charitable programs for the community.

Confidence, dynamism, and a sense of responsibility have helped her become one of the outstanding children of the capital city recognized this school year.

Sharing her feelings of honor upon receiving the Kim Dong Award, Gia Han emotionally said: "I feel happy and proud to receive the Kim Dong Award. This is not only a meaningful reward for my efforts in studying and participating in the Youth Union activities, but also a motivation for me to continue striving even harder. I always remind myself to live responsibly, be diligent, study well, and actively spread good things to my friends."

To achieve these impressive accomplishments, Gia Han said she always strives to balance her studies with participation in extracurricular activities. For her, each Youth Union activity is an opportunity to grow and improve herself.

"Team activities have helped me mature, become more confident, and learn the spirit of solidarity and sharing. I believe that when I try my best, I will receive what I deserve," Gia Han added.

Gia Hân had the honor of being one of 85 outstanding young Pioneers nationwide to participate in the meeting with General Secretary and President Tô Lâm.

Not stopping there, Gia Han also performed at the "Vietnamese Children Steadily Marching into a New Era" music festival alongside other artists to celebrate the 85th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Organization (May 15, 1941 - May 15, 2026).

In particular, Gia Han had the honor of being one of 85 outstanding young Pioneers nationwide to participate in a meeting with General Secretary and President To Lam. This is considered a special milestone in the childhood journey of this young student.

“That was a sacred and proud moment for me. I was extremely honored to meet and join 85 other team members in singing a tribute to General Secretary and President To Lam. This is not only a beautiful memory but also a motivation for me to continue striving, training, and spreading the spirit of confidence and courage of the young generation of Vietnam,” Gia Han recalled this proud moment.

Not only does she bring pride to her family and school, but the image of Young Pioneer Nguyen Ngoc Gia Han also contributes to spreading the spirit of living a beautiful and useful life to a large number of Young Pioneers and children. She is a typical representative of the dynamic, capable, and ambitious generation of Hanoi's children in the new era.

The 15-5 Award from the Hanoi Youth Union commends outstanding students who achieved excellent results in the Youth Union's activities and children's movement at the city level in 2023-2024; the Certificate of Merit from the Central Youth Union Council commends students who achieved excellent results in the "Patriotism in Your Own Way" program in 2025; the Certificate of Merit from the Hanoi Youth Union commends students with outstanding achievements in implementing the "Hanoi Children Following the Five Teachings of Uncle Ho" movement in 2025; achieving the title of "Good Child of Uncle Ho" at the Hanoi City level in 2025; 3rd Prize in the Hanoi Children's Talent Competition in 2023;...

Furthermore, Gia Han also won the runner-up title in the 2025 National Children's MC Competition and actively participated in community activities: She was one of 20 members of the Hanoi Youth Union's Cadre Club to attend the 2025 Hanoi City Children's Forum with the theme "Speaking Kind Words, Doing Good Deeds"; she was one of four outstanding children to participate in the forum "The Voice of Youth, the Action of the Youth Union"; she was an Ambassador of National Identity at Vietnam Iconic Runway 2025; she was a speaker in the "For a Green National Environment" programs in 2025; and she was a speaker at the national conference "Journey to Net-Zero" 2025...
