Hoi An welcomed over 1.2 million visitors in the first quarter.

During this period, the total number of visitors to the city was approximately 1,287,500, an increase of 6.67% compared to the same period in 2024. The total number of visitors purchasing tickets to visit tourist attractions in the city was approximately 942,000, reaching 91.02%. The total number of overnight stays was approximately 559,700, an increase of 16.54%. Tourism revenue was approximately 1,516 billion VND, an increase of 32.93%.

Also in the field of tourism, Hoi An City organized a ceremony to receive the Tra Que vegetable village award "Best Tourist Village of 2024" presented by the United Nations Tourism Organization; and welcomed a delegation of ambassadors and heads of development cooperation representatives from Switzerland to visit and work on the "Swiss Tourism Project for Sustainable Development of Vietnam".

In addition, the city has implemented the "Arrangement and New Development Plan for the Central Area of ​​Bay Mau Coconut Forest in Cam Thanh Commune"; approved the list of tasks to be implemented under the "Hoi An Tourism Development Project until 2025, with orientation to 2030" and the Green Tourism Development Plan for 2025; and continued to build and finalize the draft dossier for requesting recognition of Cu Lao Cham as a national tourist area.
