
Answer: According to Article 25 of the Law on Supervisory Activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils (Law No. 121/2025/QH15), National Assembly deputies have the authority to carry out the following supervisory activities: Questioning the President, the Chairman of the National Assembly, the Prime Minister, Ministers, other members of the Government, the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, the Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuracy , and the State Auditor General.
Members of the National Assembly supervise legal documents; supervise the implementation of laws in the localities where they are members of the National Assembly delegation; and supervise the handling of complaints, denunciations, petitions, and feedback from agencies, organizations, and individuals.
Members of the National Assembly participate in the oversight activities of the National Assembly delegation of which they are members; they also participate in oversight activities of the National Assembly, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, the National Council, the Committees of the National Assembly, and the Provincial People's Councils when requested or proposed.
Members of the National Assembly decide on and organize the implementation of their annual monitoring program (if any); if necessary, due to practical requirements, they may decide to adjust the monitoring program. Members of the National Assembly are responsible for informing their National Assembly delegation about their monitoring program (if any).
The National Assembly delegation is responsible for organizing the activities of its members in conducting oversight at the local level.
