The folk song festival featuring performances from the three regions of Vietnam will take place in Nghe An.

The Folk Song and Music Festival of the Three Regions is organized to introduce, promote, preserve, and develop the traditional artistic values ​​of folk melodies and traditional musical instruments from various regions; to respect and protect the diverse expressions of culture, people, ethnic groups, and regions. From this, it affirms the role of the people as both creators and beneficiaries of culture.

The 2023 Folk Song and Forum Festival of the Three Regions is a nationwide event, jointly directed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People's Committee of Nghe An province; implemented by the Department of Grassroots Culture, the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An province. Participating in the event are amateur art troupes from the Cultural Centers; Cultural and Art Centers; and Cultural, Film and Exhibition Centers of various provinces and cities.

The folk song and performance festival of the three regions of Vietnam will take place from August 1st to 5th, 2023, opening at 8 PM on August 1st at the Provincial Traditional Arts Center; and closing at 8 PM on August 5th at Ho Chi Minh Square (in conjunction with street festival activities and the closing ceremony of the Nghe Tinh Folk Song Festival).

To ensure that the Folk Song Festival of the Three Regions takes place according to program and plan, guaranteeing artistic quality, safety, and creating a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere, contributing to promoting and developing the unique characteristics of the regions and the culture of Nghe An , the People's Committee of Nghe An province has directed relevant departments, agencies, units, and localities to coordinate effectively based on their respective functions.
