The Da Nang Young Entrepreneurs Association (YEA) was officially established in 2009 on the basis of its predecessors, the Da Nang Young Entrepreneurs Club (established in 2000) and the Da Nang Young Entrepreneurs Association (established in 2003). After more than 20 years of establishment and development, the Da Nang Young Entrepreneurs Association has continuously grown and contributed to the development of Da Nang City.
In particular, after its establishment, the Association has continuously consolidated, improved and developed the organization. Accordingly, the Association has gone through 7 congresses and with the development of Da Nang City, the Association has truly affirmed itself as an organization of young entrepreneurs in the city, with the same goals, ideals, aspirations to constantly innovate, create and connect for mutual development.
According to the statistics compiled by the Association Office, with 36 members at the time of its establishment in 2000, the Association now has 750 members; operating in many industries. This shows that the attraction and trustworthiness of members to join the Association is very large, even though in the context of the past years, the economy of Da Nang City in particular and the country in general has been quite difficult due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic as well as the post-COVID period.
However, according to the representative of the Da Nang City Entrepreneurs Association, all members, including the Executive Committee and Standing Committee members, always strive and are determined to rise up, aiming to strengthen connections, exchanges, support and accompany the development of the city in general, to stimulate and develop the city's economy in particular, so the Association's activities gradually returned to stability after the pandemic and continuously implemented many programs to accompany the government as well as the business system in the city.

The most remarkable mark that the Da Nang City Entrepreneurs Association has left, which has been highly appreciated by the authorities at all levels, people and the business community in the area, is the efforts to accompany the city to repel the COVID-19 epidemic in 2019 - 2020. During that time, the City Entrepreneurs Association proactively implemented activities for members to operate, minimizing the impacts of the pandemic; at the same time, calling on and mobilizing member businesses and the business system in the area as well as organizations and individuals to contribute resources, facilities, funding... to support the work of preventing and fighting the epidemic; donating ventilators, heart rate monitors, COVID rapid test kits, medical masks, protective clothing, nutritional supplements...; Visit, encourage, provide relief, support medical equipment, food and provisions for patients, hospitals, medical facilities, frontline forces and anti-epidemic checkpoints in the community... Accordingly, the Association has mobilized more than 20 billion VND to support these activities.
After the COVID-19 pandemic was pushed back, the Danang City Entrepreneurs Association continued to accompany the city government and community to overcome the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, while consulting, advising, and supporting policies for the Danang City government to issue policies to restore the economy; in which, the extremely important issue is to find solutions to remove difficulties so that businesses, especially small and medium enterprises in the area, can continue to exist, operate and gradually stabilize and develop again.

According to Nguyen Hoang Thuy, Chief of Office of the Danang Association of Young Entrepreneurs, in the spirit of solidarity and efforts for the community and for businesses, each member, including members of the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Association, has continuously had many concerns to find solutions to overcome difficulties; the Association has organized many forums, seminars, and talks to discuss; on that basis, it has contributed ideas to the city authorities at all levels to develop and issue policies to remove difficulties for the economy and the business community in the post-COVID-19 period.
At the same time, the Association also organized many training courses to help businesses, especially young businesses, small and medium-sized enterprises, promote dynamism, creativity, actively innovate management thinking and technology in management and production; gradually overcome difficulties, restructure, invest and expand production and business as well as improve competitiveness to survive and develop. Also through these forums and training courses, the City's Association of Young Entrepreneurs has promptly helped members and the young business community in the city find appropriate solutions and directions to overcome difficulties. And during this time, many new projects have been implemented, factories have been built, and many capital sources have been mobilized to serve production and business.
Along with those efforts, many new creative and flexible ways have also been proposed by the City's Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, such as organizing support campaigns, implementing social security policies in disadvantaged communities; deploying and maintaining rice ATMs; supporting facilities for schools and hospitals in remote areas; helping workers' families in difficult circumstances... These activities have helped members grasp and share difficulties with the community; at the same time, from the reality of social life, members continue to unite and strive to expand production, provide essential goods and products to serve social consumption, thereby helping businesses survive and develop.
In particular, the Association has also proposed and supported, accompanied the city authorities at all levels to open up many connections between member enterprises and the business community in general, creating conditions for businessmen to share knowledge and experience in business management and development; continue to maintain the organization of the annual "Smile of Da Nang City Civil Servants" award. This is an annual award to honor cadres, civil servants, and public employees with outstanding achievements in the process of building and developing the city, especially with many contributions to the development of the business community and businesses.
In addition, the Association also conducted field surveys at a number of businesses, collected members' opinions and held expanded meetings to discuss solutions to remove difficulties for businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and submitted to the Prime Minister, the People's Council and the City People's Committee a number of solutions to support city businesses to overcome difficulties caused by the pandemic.
The Association also organizes exchange programs between entrepreneurs and young people, students at schools in the city on the topics of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial skills, creativity; equipping skills to master the 4.0 industrial era with creative thinking; building luggage to become good employees; orienting, consulting on careers as well as inspiring passion and experience in entrepreneurship for students of universities, colleges, and vocational high schools in the city; launching the Green - Clean - Beautiful Sunday movement to member businesses. use biodegradable bags to protect the environment; launch the Young Entrepreneurs program to protect the green-clean-beautiful coast...
In particular, in recent times, many activities connecting with international business communities from Korea, Japan, the United States, Europe and many large international organizations; between businesses, communities, international business associations with the city government and the city's business community continue to receive attention from the Da Nang City Business Association. This is the basis and corridor for the local business community to strengthen deep integration and reach out to the big sea more strongly in the coming time.
Based on the practical activities of the past, the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises of Da Nang city has continuously affirmed its position and role in the process of accompanying the development of the city; at the same time, interacting, building connections, supporting and helping each other to develop, continuously cultivating, perfecting the business culture philosophy of entrepreneurs and enterprises, contributing to building the image of Da Nang city as friendly, livable and developing./.
