In September, the press in the province closely followed the propaganda orientation of the Central and the province, promptly and comprehensively reflecting the fields of current affairs, politics , economics, culture - society, national defense - security, foreign affairs; focusing on important political events: the 20th Congress of Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030; commemorating the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2; 70th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; 75th anniversary of Dong Khe Victory associated with the 75th anniversary of Cao Bang Liberation Day...
The total number of news, articles, photos, and propaganda reports reached 6,154, an increase of more than 3,700 news and articles compared to August 2025. Of which, Cao Bang Newspaper published 3,778 news and articles (publishing 13 news issues and 2 special pages to welcome the Provincial Party Congress); Non Nuoc Cao Bang Magazine published 66 works; Central press agencies published more than 2,300 news and articles about Cao Bang. Many outstanding works had the power to spread, encouraging the spirit of patriotic emulation, arousing the aspiration to develop the homeland.
Besides the achieved results, the press still has limitations: Some new works stop at reflecting events; articles with in-depth ideological, political and theoretical orientation are still few; technical infrastructure and human resources still do not meet the requirements of digital transformation.
At the Conference, delegates listened to the representative of the Provincial People's Committee Office inform about the activities, direction and administration of the Provincial People's Committee and the results in the fields of economy, culture, society, security, military , foreign affairs of the province in the first 9 months of 2025; key tasks in the coming time; and at the same time answered a number of issues of interest to the press. The direct provision of information, exchange and timely answers by the Provincial People's Committee leaders demonstrated a high sense of responsibility, ensuring publicity and transparency in direction and administration, contributing to strengthening coordination, creating consensus and improving the effectiveness of propaganda of press agencies.
Concluding the Conference, Comrade Nong Thanh Tung - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts, innovation and creativity of press agencies in carrying out political tasks, contributing to creating consensus in society. He suggested that in October, press agencies should focus on propagating the 75th anniversary of the 1950 Border Campaign Victory, Cao Bang Liberation (October 3, 1950 - October 3, 2025); the 526th anniversary of the establishment of Cao Bang province; socio-economic development results in the first 9 months of 2025; natural disaster prevention and control, storms and floods during the rainy season; continue to spread patriotic emulation movements, good people, good deeds; deploy propaganda on the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, towards the 14th National Party Congress; continue to propagate the implementation of the 2-level local government model in the province; promote reflection of local socio-economic development results.
Authorities need to coordinate closely with the press to clarify information on a number of issues of public concern, increase transparency, respond promptly, and orient public opinion correctly; step up propaganda of events and foreign affairs activities, promote the image of Cao Bang; actively fight and refute false information on cyberspace, raise vigilance against high-tech fraud tricks; and at the same time create conditions for the press to operate in accordance with regulations.
