On the afternoon of January 9th, in Ha Long City, the preparatory meeting of the Secretariat for the 2025 Spring Meeting Program and the 16th Joint Working Committee Meeting between the provinces of Quang Ninh, Lang Son, Cao Bang, and Ha Giang (Vietnam) and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China) took place.
At the conference, representatives from departments and agencies of the five provinces/regions contributed many ideas related to the organizational plan, preparation of documents and content, financial mechanisms, logistics, etc., for the Spring Meeting Program 2025 between the Party Secretaries of the four Vietnamese provinces and the Party Secretary of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China).
The program is expected to last for 3 days in February 2025 in Ha Long City (Quang Ninh). Besides meetings and discussions, this year's program will include activities such as displaying and introducing OCOP products from 5 provinces/regions; promoting trade, investment , and tourism ; signing bilateral agreements between provinces/regions; and visiting Ha Long Bay…
Over the past 10 years, the Spring Festival Meeting mechanism has made a positive contribution to promoting relations between the two Parties, the two countries, and the people of Vietnam and China. This program will be an important opportunity to evaluate and summarize the results of implementing the common understandings reached at previous meetings.
