Politburo member Nguyen Xuan Thang received the Secretary of the Party Committee of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region

On the afternoon of February 20, in Ha Long City, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, received Comrade Tran Cuong, Member of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of China, Secretary of the Regional Party Committee, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Also attending were Comrades Vu Dai Thang, Party Central Committee member, Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee and Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committees of Lang Son, Cao Bang, and Ha Giang provinces.

Speaking at the reception, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, congratulated Comrade Tran Cuong on his new responsibility as Secretary of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Party Committee. He emphasized that this is a very important time for both Vietnam and China, a time when both countries are focusing on solutions to create breakthroughs for development. Therefore, continuing to further promote the cooperative relationship between the two Parties, the two States as well as the localities of the two countries plays a very important role in the common development of the two countries.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang also affirmed that in recent times, the consolidation and enhancement of the cooperative and friendly relations between the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China) and the border localities of Vietnam have made an important contribution to promoting the cooperative relations between the two Parties, the two States and the two peoples. Especially through the mechanism of early Spring meetings and the Joint Working Committee Conference held annually for 10 years, the cooperation contents have been effectively implemented. Thereby, continuing to concretize the high-level common awareness of the leaders of the Party and State of Vietnam and China, maintaining contact between high-level leaders; at the same time, further tightening the friendship between the 5 Provinces - Regions of the 2 countries and enhancing practical, effective and comprehensive exchanges, exchanges and cooperation.

Promoting the achieved results, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang hopes that the 2025 Spring Meeting Program and the 16th Joint Working Committee Conference will be successful, continuing to contribute to promoting the cooperative relationship between localities to go deeper and deeper.

Comrade Tran Cuong, Secretary of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Party Committee, thanked the leaders of the Party, State and Quang Ninh province for their welcome. He also affirmed that in the current context, consolidating and developing the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership; the Vietnam-China Community of Shared Future is very important for the common development of the two countries. At the same time, he hoped that in the coming time, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and localities of Vietnam will continue to concretize the contents agreed upon by the senior leaders of the two Parties and the two States.
