On the afternoon of July 16, the 11th Provincial Fatherland Front Committee held the 14th Conference to evaluate the results of the implementation of the coordination and unified action program in the first 6 months of 2024; and set out directions and tasks for the last 6 months of the year. The Conference also discussed and contributed opinions to the report on the organization of the 12th Provincial Fatherland Front Congress, term 2024-2029 and the draft political report to be presented at the Congress.
In the first 6 months of 2024 , closely following the Program of coordination and unified action of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the working theme of the province "Improving the quality of economic growth; developing culture and people rich in Quang Ninh identity", the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the province have innovated the content and methods of operation, focusing on the grassroots, closely following residential areas; promoting propaganda and mobilization work to create consensus among the people in implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; resolutions, directives and guiding documents of the province.
Specifically, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has closely coordinated with all levels, sectors, organizations and localities of the province to promote propaganda and mobilize union members, association members and people to implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws. At the same time, it has effectively participated in the task of ensuring social security; well performed ethnic and religious work; encouraged emulation movements among all classes of people in Quang Ninh in studying, creative work, successfully implementing economic, cultural and social development goals, maintaining national defense and security...
The work of social supervision and criticism has been implemented systematically, seriously, effectively and has many substantial innovations in terms of subjects, content and implementation methods. The Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has deployed 1 conference on social criticism for the draft Resolution of the Provincial People's Council ( in June 2024) and 4 supervision programs, including: Direct supervision of 18 comrades who are Party Secretaries and Chairmen of People's Committees of 14 communes, wards and towns in 7 district-level localities; direct supervision of 28 Committees under the People's Councils of 14 communes, wards and towns in 7 district-level localities; supervision of the implementation of solutions to improve the PAPI Index; supervision of the reception of citizens and settlement of complaints and denunciations by the Chairman of the District People's Committee . Through that promote the representative role, protect the legitimate rights and interests of union members, association members and people.
The organization of the Congress of the Fatherland Front at all levels for the 2024-2029 term was carried out closely, on schedule, in accordance with procedures and regulations. By March 15, 2024, all 1,452 residential areas in the province had completed the Conference of the Front Working Committee. On April 26, all 177 communes, wards and towns completed the Commune-level Fatherland Front Congress. On June 15, all 13 districts, towns and cities completed the District-level Congress. According to the plan, the 12th Provincial Fatherland Front Congress, term 2024-2029, will take place on July 30 and 31 at the Provincial Conference Center. Preparations were carried out carefully and closely. The emulation activities to celebrate took place enthusiastically and practically, receiving the support and response of the people.
At the conference, delegates participated in democratic discussions and directly contributed opinions to the draft political report and submission on the organization of the 12th Provincial Fatherland Front Congress , term 2024-2029; including many important contents, such as: Expected composition and number of delegates, Presidium, Secretariat; content and program of the Congress; propaganda and celebration work; expected structure and composition of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Standing Committee and non-professional Vice Chairmen of the new term; expected delegation to attend the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front...
Also at the conference, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee consulted and agreed to admit the Association of Former People's Police Officers of Quang Ninh province to become a member of the Provincial Fatherland Front of Quang Ninh province.
