According to statistics, in 2024, Khanh Hoa welcomed more than 10.8 million visitors, including nearly 4.7 million international visitors. This figure shows the strong recovery of the province's tourism industry. With the orientation of becoming a centrally-governed city by 2030, the Khanh Hoa Tourism Promotion Conference in Australia is one of the events to strengthen cooperation with localities and businesses, especially in the field of connecting air routes and developing tourism products.

At the conference, video presentations introduced outstanding destinations, high-end resort services, marine tourism products and local cultural experiences, along with information on existing flight routes. The conference received positive attention from Australian businesses.
Representatives of Khanh Hoa province and businesses shared general information about tourism infrastructure and service systems that are being gradually upgraded in a professional direction; at the same time, they affirmed their desire to cooperate extensively with Australian partners in building products suitable for the market and increasing connectivity between the two destinations.
The event also saw the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Tourism Association and tourism partners in Australia. This event marks an important first step, opening up many opportunities for practical cooperation in building tourism programs, developing diverse products and enhancing connectivity, aiming to attract tourists from Australia to Khanh Hoa and vice versa.
