The Provincial Farmers' Association offered incense at the Provincial Martyrs' Memorial and organized activities to celebrate the 7th Provincial Farmers' Association Congress.

Ahead of the 7th Provincial Farmers' Association Congress, term 2023-2028, on the morning of August 11th, delegates, officials, and members of the Provincial Farmers' Association and the Ninh Binh City Farmers' Association held a ceremony to offer incense at the Provincial Martyrs' Memorial and organized activities to celebrate the Congress.

A delegation of officials and members from the Provincial Farmers' Association and the Ninh Binh City Farmers' Association laid wreaths and offered incense at the Provincial Martyrs' Memorial.

Before the sacred spirits of the heroic martyrs, officials and members of the Farmers' Association expressed their profound respect for the contributions of the heroic martyrs who bravely fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, and for the happiness of the people.

Cadres and members of the Farmers' Association in the province pledge to continue the traditions of previous generations, striving to improve themselves and further develop the Association's work and the farmers' movement, contributing to building a prosperous, beautiful, and civilized homeland and country.

* Next, the delegation participated in unveiling the "Environmentally Friendly Tourism Service" sign at Thanh Nguyen's fermented shrimp paste stewed meat shop located in Hoa Lu Old Town.

Activities to welcome the Farmers' Association — Leaders of the Provincial Farmers' Association presented flowers to congratulate Thanh Nguyen's fermented shrimp paste meat production facility at the ceremony to unveil the plaque designating it as an environmentally friendly tourism service point (exhibition booth in Hoa Lu Old Town).

The store currently displays and sells nearly 100 different products, the majority of which are agricultural products meeting OCOP standards from production facilities inside and outside the province.

At the store, the packaging process for products is gradually shifting to paper bags, earthenware pots, reusable plastic boxes, etc., contributing to environmental protection and effectively implementing the "Ninh Binh Farmers Reduce the Use of Plastic Bags and Plastic Waste" project.

* At the Dong Thanh Ward People's Committee, delegates attended the launching ceremony for the establishment of the Song Van Safe Agricultural Products Cooperative.

The cooperative has 7 members with a charter capital of 300 million VND, registered to produce and trade in the following sectors: post-harvest services; processing and preserving agricultural products: meat and meat products, seafood and seafood products, fruits and vegetables.

The cooperative's activities aim to support and cooperate with each other in production and business operations, create jobs, increase benefits for members, and contribute to promoting the socio-economic development of the locality.
