Deserving of the "10 golden words" awarded by the Central Military Commission to women in the Army.

On the morning of December 16th, in Hanoi, the delegation attending the 8th Congress of Women Representatives of the Army (2025-2030) offered incense at the Bac Son Martyrs' Memorial, reported their achievements to President Ho Chi Minh, and visited his mausoleum.

Attending the program were Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh, Deputy Head of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army; leaders of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Command; heads of political agencies of units under the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense ; and more than 350 outstanding female delegates, representing nearly 90,000 women in the Army serving throughout the country.

On behalf of the delegation attending the Congress, Colonel Nguyen Thi Thu Hien, Head of the Women's Affairs Committee of the Army, reported to Uncle Ho on the outstanding achievements in women's work and the emulation movement of women in the Army during the 2021-2025 period. She affirmed that, remembering Uncle Ho's teachings, women in the Army have always actively responded to and effectively participated in emulation movements and campaigns launched by the Party, State, Army, and the Vietnam Women's Union. The focus is on the emulation movement "Women in the Army: Intelligent - Courageous, fulfilling their duties well, building happy families, worthy of being called Ho Chi Minh's soldiers in the new era," linked with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style, building the Vietnamese woman of the new era, and women in the Army who are "Intelligent, courageous, disciplined, and compassionate."

With a high sense of responsibility and relentless effort, women in the Army have successfully accomplished the goals and tasks set forth by the 7th Congress of Women in the Army. Over 98% of the organizations and members completed their tasks; nearly 90% of female officers and members in the Army met the three standards of the movement and received the titles of "Outstanding and Exemplary Female Officer/Member"; over 98% of member families received the title of "Culturally Advanced Family"; and over 4,000 collectives and 180,000 individual women received commendations from superiors at all levels.

Notably, one individual was awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces; seven collectives and individuals received the Vietnam Women's Award; one individual received the Nguyen Thi Dinh Award; three female officers were promoted to the rank of general; six female military personnel were awarded the title of Associate Professor; and nearly 50 comrades were awarded the titles of People's Artist, Meritorious Artist, Meritorious Teacher, and Meritorious Doctor.

According to Colonel Nguyen Thi Thu Hien, many outstanding female military personnel have been elected to leadership positions and have been delegates to Party Congresses and socio-political organizations at all levels. The percentage of female officers compared to the total number of officers currently working is 3.39%; the number of female Party members participating in Party committees compared to the total number of Party committee members at all levels currently working is 2.97%.

Furthermore, in the emulation movement to help each other develop the economy and build "prosperous, progressive, happy, and civilized" families, many families of female military personnel have become cultural shining examples for their units and residential areas. The Women's Committee of the Army is honored to have been awarded the Second Class Order of National Defense; for many consecutive years, it has received the Emulation Flag from the General Political Department and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union; and it has always been a model unit in the nationwide women's emulation movement.

Continuing the tradition of the older generations, the women of the past, and building upon the achievements already attained, on behalf of the delegation, Colonel Nguyen Thi Thu Hien pledged to Uncle Ho: Women in the Army will continue to build strong political resolve, steadfastly uphold revolutionary goals and ideals, overcome difficulties and challenges under any circumstances, and be ready to accept and excellently fulfill all assigned tasks. Together with officers and soldiers throughout the army, they will always be a model force in studying and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh.

Along with the effective implementation of the emulation movement "Women in the Army: Courageous and Intelligent, Promoting Digital Transformation, Successfully Completing Tasks, Building Happy Families, Worthy of Being Called Soldiers of Uncle Ho in the New Era," and building the image of women in the Army as "courageous, intelligent, disciplined, and compassionate," women in the Army uphold glorious traditions, build a strong Women's Union organization, and actively contribute their efforts and intellect to building a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern army, meeting the requirements of the task of building and firmly defending the Fatherland.

"All female officers and members of the Women's Association of the Army are determined to uphold a high sense of responsibility, be proactive, creative, overcome all difficulties..., follow the path chosen by the Party and Uncle Ho, and live up to the ten golden words that the Central Military Commission has bestowed upon the women of the Army: 'Patriotism, Unity, Creativity, Loyalty, and Competence'," the Head of the Women's Association of the Army emphasized.
