The presentation of the portrait statue of President Ho Chi Minh carries immense spiritual value and lasting significance, contributing to the cultivation of revolutionary ideals, the education of patriotic traditions, the enhancement of a sense of responsibility, and the expression of profound gratitude from the officers and soldiers of the Armed Forces of Military Region 9 and the people.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, Major General Quach Van Nho, Deputy Commander of Military Region 9, requested that the communes and wards of Can Tho City should respectfully preserve and place the statue of President Ho Chi Minh in a respectful, solemn, and proper location to serve political and cultural activities associated with traditional education; contributing to promoting the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style among every officer, soldier, and citizen.
