The delegation from Military Region 9 visited the Martyrs' Cemetery in An Giang province.

In anticipation of the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2025) and the 36th anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2025), on the morning of December 16, authorized by the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, Major General Huynh Van Ngon, Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 9, along with a delegation, offered incense and paid respects at the An Giang Provincial Martyrs' Cemetery (An Chau commune). Representatives from the Provincial Military Command and various armed forces units stationed in the area also attended the ceremony.

In a solemn atmosphere, the delegates respectfully laid flowers and offered incense, observed a moment of silence, and expressed their boundless gratitude to the heroic martyrs who bravely fought and sacrificed themselves to win independence for the nation, bring freedom and peace to the people, and build and protect the Fatherland.

Before the spirits of the heroic martyrs, the delegation pledged to continue striving, training, uniting as one, and remaining absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland, and the People; determined to successfully fulfill the tasks assigned by the Party, the State, and the army.
