To prepare for the Civil Servants' Union Sports Festival, units have planned and trained to participate in events such as 5-a-side football for men, volleyball for men and women, jump rope for men and women, and sack jumping for men and women.

At the Provincial Museum's yard at 5 pm every day, as soon as work hours ended, members of the joint volleyball team of the Provincial Museum and the Provincial Library immediately put on their shoes and went out to the field to warm up and practice. Some were new to the sport, some had taken a break and were just now returning to the field. Although they were a bit clumsy when handling the ball, everyone tried to fix it themselves. Therefore, every day, the serves and receptions were more team-oriented, rhythmic, and professional, demonstrating high determination.

The Provincial Civil Servants' Union Sports Festival will take place in the evenings, from June 15 to 30, 2024 at the Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center and Khanh Duong Football Field (Phong Nam Commune, Phan Thiet City). There are 21 men's football teams, 34 volleyball teams, 34 rope jumping teams and 34 sack jumping teams, with about 1,500 athletes who are cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers working at agencies and units under the Provincial Civil Servants' Union. This is an opportunity to create a healthy and useful playground, meeting the needs and aspirations of health training among cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers, creating motivation for union members to successfully complete the political tasks of each agency and unit.

The 2024 Civil Servants' Union Sports Festival promises to be exciting with beautiful competitions between units.

Mr. Tran Ngoc Phuc - Chairman of the Provincial Trade Union said: The new point of this year's sports festival is to add 5-a-side men's football to the competition program. At the same time, the men's and women's tug-of-war is replaced by men's and women's rope jumping. These changes aim to encourage more union members and workers to participate, while the short training time does not affect professional work. This promises that the 2024 sports festival will be exciting with exciting and beautiful competitions between units.

Maintaining and developing the sports festival of the Civil Servants' Union has been making an important contribution to building the cultural beauty, working style, friendly and close image of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the new era. This is also a key activity in the series of events celebrating the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Provincial Civil Servants' Union (July 26, 2004 - July 26, 2024) and the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2024). Through this, excellent athletes and teams will be selected to participate in the sports festival organized by the Provincial Labor Federation this year.
