Workshop on identifying bottlenecks and proposing solutions in the land sector

(HTV) - The Ministry of Justice, in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, has just organized a workshop with the theme "Identifying bottlenecks and proposing solutions related to the land sector". The workshop was implemented in both direct and online formats with 34 localities across the country.

At the workshop, experts, business representatives and localities focused on discussing and analyzing contents related to policies, institutions and the implementation process of the current Land Law. Many opinions pointed out difficulties in planning, land use plans; land recovery, compensation, support, resettlement; land price determination; land allocation, land lease, land use purpose conversion; granting land use right certificates, etc.

Delegates attended the workshop in person and online with 34 localities across the country.

Delegates said that it is necessary to soon complete the national information system and land database, and at the same time build a strict inspection and supervision mechanism associated with decentralization and delegation of authority in handling administrative violations according to each specific field and level of violation.

The workshop contributes to preparing theoretical and practical basis for amending and supplementing the Land Law.

The workshop is considered to have practical significance in the current period, when the Party and State are strongly directing the amendment and supplementation of the Land Law, expected to be submitted to the National Assembly at the upcoming 10th Session.
