On May 17, in Khanh Nhac commune, Yen Khanh district, the Agricultural Extension Center (Department of Agriculture and Rural Development) coordinated with Ngát Nhung Agricultural Machinery Dealer to organize a workshop to promote agricultural mechanization.
Attending the event were leaders of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; representatives of the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development; Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Technical Service Centers of districts and cities; 150 agricultural cooperatives, organizations, units and individuals with the need to apply mechanization to agricultural production in the province; agricultural machinery companies: Phan Tan, Van Lang, Dai Thanh, INTESCO.
The application of mechanization in production not only helps solve the problem of labor in agriculture, liberate labor but also reduces production costs, increases income for farmers. Therefore, in recent times, the province, departments, branches and localities have had many solutions to support farmers to promote the application of mechanization in production.
In particular, policies from Resolution 32/2022/NQ-HDND of the Provincial People's Council (support 50%, maximum not exceeding 200 million VND/machine) have promoted many organizations, units and individuals to invest in purchasing machinery for production.
Currently, the mechanization rate in Ninh Binh 's land preparation has reached over 99%; care and watering over 96%; spraying pesticides 80%; harvesting 95%; only the sowing and planting stage has a low rate, about 25%.
At the workshop, representatives of agricultural machinery suppliers introduced their latest agricultural tools including transplanters, harvesters, tillers, straw rollers, pesticide sprayers, fertilizer spreaders; automatic drainage systems; smart monitoring systems; rice milling machines, packaging machines, livestock machines and accompanying spare parts... At the same time, they discussed mechanisms for linking purchases and sales, and warranty support for buyers.
Speaking at the workshop, the representative of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development emphasized that investing in agricultural mechanization will be the basis for the province's agricultural sector to develop dramatically, contributing to ensuring crop seasons, increasing land use coefficients, and increasing product value. However, our mechanization speed is still not as expected, especially in the two stages of sowing and planting, and post-harvest processing and deep processing. Therefore, in the future, support policies will focus on these two stages.
Also at the workshop, delegates witnessed the signing ceremony of the contract for purchase and delivery of straw rolling machines between Ngát Nhung Dealer and the machine purchasing facility.
