On the evening of October 19th, the Hội - Thuần - Hội 2024 music festival took place in Thu Duc City (Ho Chi Minh City). The event returned after a two-year hiatus.

The concert featured renowned indie artists and was packed with attendees, despite taking place at the same time as the "Brother Says Hi" and "Brother Overcomes a Thousand Thorns" concerts.

As the event progressed, the artists' enthusiasm for partying grew even stronger. The number of attendees who had to sit outside and watch on the secondary screen also increased.

But no matter where they were, the participants all joined in, swaying and dancing to the energy of the night's music.

The drumming performance sparked curiosity and enjoyment among many participants, further fueling the audience's enthusiasm for the subsequent acts.

The program's success was most evident in the crowded areas for attendees, particularly the VIP section, filled with fellow participants.

Thien Minh, head of the organizing committee for the 2024 "Pure Gathering" event , said: "Someone asked me if I hesitated because the 2024 'Pure Gathering' event coincided with several major concerts. Today, everyone's energy somewhat answers that question."

A moment of reflection, sharing sorrow.

Besides the "fiery" moments, Hoi-Thuan-Hoi 2024 also brought a somber note for all viewers.

Specifically, actor Khuong Ngoc and singer The Bao couldn't hide their emotions on stage when recounting the touching story of Kien Trinh, a young indie artist who participated in the show, whose song " Con Gioi" (Heaven 's Son) made him famous.

In the previous season of Hội - Thuần - Hội , Kiên Trịnh did not appear on stage.

At the same time, the organizers observed a three-minute moment of silence during that year's performance, the reason being that Kien's mother had passed away shortly before the show.

The story partly answers the participants' question of why Kien didn't sing the song " Son of Heaven" at this festival.

However, after the emotional conversation with The Bao, Khuong Ngoc, and fans, Kien sang the song "Con Gioi ," which originally had a cheerful melody, in a simple, unadorned style, without background music or embellishments.

It's just a very simple story: "I work for free for this family / I worry about providing you with delicious meals / And now this is how you repay me / I ask if you are really my children? / Because Mom said you are children of God / So you never listen," "Mom worries, Mom beats, Mom scolds, Mom makes my life more difficult / So Mom, why worry?"...
