More than 1,000 Ha Tinh audiences booked tickets to see the movie "Red Rain"

(Baohatinh.vn) - To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, audiences nationwide, including Ha Tinh, will enjoy the movie "Red Rain" - an epic about the indomitable spirit, the desire for peace and national harmony.

“Red Rain” is a feature film, the biggest film project in the past 10 years of the People's Army Cinema, written by writer Chu Lai and directed by Meritorious Artist Dang Thai Huyen.

The work was inspired by the 81 days and nights of steadfast fighting to protect Quang Tri Citadel in 1972 by our army and people - an immortal symbol of revolutionary heroism.

Not only does the film recreate the sacrifices of the soldiers in their twenties, it also affirms that the historic victory at Quang Tri Citadel played an important role at the Paris negotiations, paving the way for the great victory of Spring 1975, unifying the country.

The film focuses on Squad 1 - a unit of young, brave men who fought on the fierce battlefield; it is a moving tragedy, honoring the generation who devoted their youth to the Fatherland, so that today the country can live in peace .

The film officially premiered nationwide from the evening of August 21, 2025. In Ha Tinh , "Red Rain" premiered at CGV Vincom Plaza Ha Tinh theater (No. 2, Ha Huy Tap Street, Thanh Sen Ward), the first screening was at 6:10 p.m. on August 21.

On the occasion of celebrating National Day September 2, the cinema offers a 30% discount on ticket prices for audiences aged 55 and over and veterans.
