Over 126 billion VND to renovate the sidewalk of Hung Vuong Street, Dong Ha City

Vice Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Tien has just signed a decision approving the project "Basic infrastructure for comprehensive development of Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh and Quang Tri provinces - Quang Tri province sub-project, ADB loan" to renovate the sidewalk of Hung Vuong street, Dong Ha city (phase 1) with a total investment of 126.5 billion VND from ADB loan and counterpart capital of the Vietnamese Government.

The investment objective is to create an urban landscape and highlight for Hung Vuong Street - the central traffic axis of the city, gradually completing the synchronous infrastructure system, contributing to urban beautification, creating a civilized and modern street, worthy of a type II urban area.

Accordingly, investment will be made in constructing the sidewalk of Hung Vuong Street with a total length of 5,040 m, starting at km 0+00 on Tran Hung Dao Street, ending at km 5+040 north of Vinh Phuoc Bridge; the sidewalk on each side is an average of 6 m wide.

Particularly, the section from Ly Thuong Kiet Street to the intersection of Dien Bien Phu Street only invests in building a 6m wide sidewalk on the left side of the route, while the right side of the route remains in its current state.

The sidewalk will be paved with terrazzo tiles, size 40x40x3 cm, the pedestrian path will be 1.2 m wide, paved with natural granite, size 40x40x3 cm. The total sidewalk area is about 36,000 ^m2 .

At the same time, the curbs and curbs will be replaced with granite; the curbs and median strips will also be cleaned and repainted.

The project belongs to group B; technical infrastructure works, level III. The project completion date is September 30, 2025.
