Specifically, the Da Nang City People's Committee issued Decision No. 1113/QD-UBND approving the acceptance of the project "South Tra My - Tra Van Commune Regional Program" funded by World Vision International (WVI).
The project, aimed at improving the sustainable well-being of children, will be implemented from the time of approval until September 2027 in Tra Van commune, Da Nang city.
The total project budget is USD 799,200, equivalent to over VND 20.15 billion, sourced from non-refundable aid and state budget revenue, allocated for regular operations.
In Decision No. 1115/QD-UBND, the People's Committee of Da Nang City approved the acceptance of aid for the project "Hope Care System for Children with Disabilities - HSC in Cam Le Ward, giai đoạn 2026 - 2029".
The project is funded by the Children of Vietnam (COV)/USA organization with a total budget of over 3.2 billion VND. The implementation period is from March 2026 to December 2029.
The project aims to support education to ensure children with disabilities have continuous access to appropriate educational opportunities; and to support healthcare to help children with disabilities improve their health.
Simultaneously, support will be provided to improve living environments for children with disabilities, creating better living conditions; to support caregivers of children with disabilities physically and mentally, and to enhance their knowledge and skills in childcare; and to help children and their families access policy systems. Through these support measures, awareness of the rights of children with disabilities will be raised within the community and by the government.
In the healthcare sector, children with disabilities receive support for comprehensive health check-ups, health insurance, and assistance with medical equipment such as hearing aids, walkers, wheelchairs, and medications, ensuring gradual improvements in their health.
