On May 17th, a delegation of officers, doctors, and nurses from Military Hospital 121 (Logistics and Technical Department of Military Region 9) collaborated with Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy to organize a program providing free medical examinations, health consultations, medication distribution, and gifts to disadvantaged people in My Duc commune, An Giang province.

Attending the program were Major General Nguyen Minh Trieu, Standing Committee Member and Deputy Commander of Military Region 9; Colonel, Specialist Doctor II, Distinguished Physician Nguyen Tan Phong, Deputy Director of Hospital 121; along with representatives of local leaders, officers and soldiers of the armed forces, and a large number of people in the area.
During the program, more than 300 people received general internal medicine check-ups, electrocardiograms, ultrasounds, health consultations, disease prevention guidance, and free medication.
The program not only helps people access medical services, promptly detect and advise on treatment, but also spreads the spirit of responsibility and sharing for the community of the Armed Forces of the Military Region.

On this occasion, the delegation also presented 300 gifts to families entitled to preferential policies, poor households, and people in difficult circumstances in the locality.
This is a regular activity of the unit aimed at contributing to the healthcare of people in remote, disadvantaged areas. Through this, we continue to spread the positive image of the Ho Chi Minh's Army in the hearts of the people; contribute to the local Party committees and authorities in caring for social welfare, improving the quality of community healthcare, and strengthening the solidarity and close relationship between the military and the people in the area.
