More than 5,000 books are displayed at the community library.

On the occasion of the 55th anniversary of implementing President Ho Chi Minh 's Testament (1969 - 2024), the 79th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024); Vietnam Publishing Association organizes the book exhibition "Celebrating the 55th anniversary of implementing President Ho Chi Minh's Testament (1969 - 2024) and opening the library and community book cafe space The Wiselands".

The exhibition takes place for 2 weeks from August 29 to September 14, 2024 at the community library and is organized online on the Book365.vn platform.

At the exhibition at the community library, publishing units will introduce books in an area of ​​nearly 2,000 m2, with a book display area of ​​nearly 400 m2. The exhibition displays and introduces to readers nearly 3,000 books and specialized information by many authors writing about the life, career, ideology, and implementation of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament.

Some typical publications introduced at the exhibition include: "Ho Chi Minh Heritage Bookcase" with 62 books (Tre Publishing House); 5 national treasures including The Revolutionary Path, Prison Diary, National Call for Resistance, Call for Compatriots and Soldiers of the Whole Country, Testament (National Political Publishing House Truth); the book series Echoes of the Country (Information and Communication Publishing House)...

Through the book exhibition activities, the Vietnam Publishing Association hopes to contribute to promoting and spreading publications about President Ho Chi Minh and implementing his Testament, promoting the movement of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle, and developing a reading culture in the community.

At the opening ceremony of the exhibition, the opening of the library and community book cafe space The Wiselands - a member unit under the Vietnam Publishing Association - also took place. This is a free community book library space with an initial scale of nearly 5,000 good quality books, new books introduced directly from publishers and distributors to help readers have close access to books.

The special feature of the library system is the combination of activities that form a chain of reading culture development.
