Attending the event were representatives of Quang Tri province's leaders, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Tien; Colonel Nguyen Tien Hoang Anh, Deputy Director of Quang Tri Provincial Police, Head of the Organizing Committee of the walking program "Moving forward with Vietnam" in Quang Tri province; and about 5,000 people from various forces, sectors and people.

Although it was not yet the time set by the organizers, many people had gathered at Bao Ninh Sea Square to wait for the event.
Tourist Nguyen Thanh Nga from Hanoi , who is staying at a hotel opposite Nhat Le 1 Bridge, also joined in the fun by walking to the square to participate in the program.

Present at the Quang Tri bridge to relay the National Flag Raising Ceremony at Ba Dinh Square, Ms. Nga said she was very moved to see the red flag with a yellow star flying, reminding her of the sacred meaning and heroic history of our ancestors in the cause of defending the country.
Ms. Nga's father is a veteran who was seriously injured in the Quang Tri battlefield. He is 84 years old and lives with his children on Trang Tien Street, Hanoi.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Tien highly appreciated the meaningful initiative of the Ministry of Public Security and Nhan Dan Newspaper in launching this highly community-oriented program.
At the same time, acknowledge and commend the Quang Tri Provincial Police, the Representative Office of Nhan Dan Newspaper in Quang Tri province, agencies, unions, socio-political organizations and all people for actively coordinating and responding to the event with a sense of responsibility, enthusiasm and solidarity.

This activity also has great humanitarian significance when associated with the goals of reducing emissions, protecting the environment, raising public awareness of green development and sustainable transformation, issues of the times.


Provincial leaders pledged to continue to accompany all levels and sectors in implementing mass sports activities, environmental protection programs, and improving the quality of life, which is also a strategic orientation in the development process of Quang Tri.

The province calls on all cadres, soldiers, union members, youth, students and people to promote the heroic revolutionary tradition, actively respond to the patriotic emulation movement, and contribute to building a dynamic, green-clean-beautiful, safe, civilized and comprehensively developed Quang Tri province in the new era.


Colonel Nguyen Tien Hoang Anh, Deputy Director of Quang Tri Provincial Police, Head of the Organizing Committee of the walking program "Moving forward with Vietnam" in Quang Tri province, shared that in recent times, Quang Tri Provincial Police has always determined that health is a valuable asset, a key factor in building and protecting the Fatherland. Today's program is an opportunity to arouse the spirit of physical training in the community, promote a positive lifestyle, contribute to building a healthy, civilized and sustainable living environment.

Joining the stream of pedestrians, Mr. Hoang Manh Cham, 74 years old, from Dong Hoi Ward, said that the program organized by the Ministry of Public Security and Nhan Dan Newspaper was very meaningful. Despite the unfavorable weather, this morning Mr. Cham still completed the 2km walk very early in a relaxed spirit, full of pride in the new opportunities of his homeland and country.
Depending on conditions, communes, wards and special zones of the province also organize participation in the program in many meaningful forms and activities.
