According to Mr. Nguyen Van Thuong, Deputy Director of the Quang Nam Provincial Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Transportation Works, the An Binh bridge is a very important component of the project connecting the DT609C route to National Highway 14B (Dai Loc). This project has a total investment of 550 billion VND.
The project has a total length of 3.93km (including bridges) with a design speed of 60km/h. The roadbed cross-section is 9m wide; new street lighting will be installed along the entire route.

The project was announced to commence on February 22, 2022, and is being undertaken by a joint venture between Thanh Tung Construction Co., Ltd. and Thai Duong Construction Co., Ltd., with Minh Khang Construction Services Co., Ltd. as the subcontractor. The consulting and supervision contractor is ECC Construction Investment and Consulting Joint Stock Company.
The An Binh Bridge is 1,060m long and features a continuous prestressed reinforced concrete box girder structure and 19 simple spans of prestressed reinforced concrete Super T girders. The main bridge section consists of 4 continuous cantilever spans totaling 290m, and 19 approach spans totaling 770m. The bridge is 9m wide, including an 8m carriageway and guardrails, with 0.5m wide railings on each side.

The consortium of contractors has completed the global substructure; cast cantilevered girders on the piers; and joined the end spans... Today, the investor and the consortium of contractors proceeded with the joining of the final central cantilevered span. It is expected that by June 30, 2024, the consortium of contractors will have completed the asphalt paving of the An Binh bridge surface and finished installing the railings.

As reported by Quang Nam Newspaper, the project to connect the DT609C route to National Highway 14B, upon completion, will create a continuous link with the project to connect National Highway 14H to DT609C (including Song Thu Bridge), becoming a new strategic horizontal axis in the Northwest region according to the planning.
Locals and tourists can travel from National Highway 14B, across An Binh Bridge to Dai Loc B area, across Song Thu Bridge into Duy Xuyen district, and join National Highway 14H at the intersection leading to My Son temple complex.
