Training on safety in mining and industrial explosives

On the morning of September 27, the Department of Industry and Trade of the province organized a conference to disseminate laws and provide training on safety in mineral exploitation and industrial explosives. Attending the conference were Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Nguyen Van Nhiem; representatives of relevant agencies and more than 100 delegates from mineral exploitation organizations and organizations using industrial explosives in the province.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Nguyen Van Nhiem said that the mineral exploitation industry and activities related to industrial explosives are making important contributions to the socio-economic development of the province.

However, this is also a field with many potential risks of insecurity, which can cause great damage to people and property if legal regulations and technical standards are not strictly followed. Therefore, it is very necessary to have a firm grasp of the technical processes in mineral exploitation and the preservation and use of industrial explosives, so that mineral exploitation and the use of industrial explosives can both contribute positively to local economic development and must be safe, especially absolutely safe for human life.

At the conference, delegates were updated and disseminated the latest legal regulations on safety in mineral exploitation and industrial explosives activities by Dr. Le Qui Thao, Lecturer of the Faculty of Mining ( Hanoi University of Mining and Geology); equipped with knowledge and safety skills for officers and workers directly working in the field of exploitation, preservation, transportation, use and destruction of industrial explosives. At the same time, raising awareness and responsibility in the work of preventing, responding to, and minimizing occupational accidents and incidents in mineral exploitation and industrial explosives activities.

Delegates participating in training at the conference will be granted a certificate of technical safety in industrial explosives operations according to regulations.
