The Provincial People's Committee requires that the newly renamed high schools inherit the existing organizational structure, assets, and student body of the private high schools before the renaming. They must also proceed with the procedures for re-registering the school seal in accordance with regulations.
Simultaneously, it is under the direct professional management and guidance of the Hung Yen Department of Education and Training, and subject to inspection, auditing, and supervision by competent authorities in accordance with the law.
After the merger, Hung Yen has 71 high schools (54 public and 17 private); 2 continuing education centers, 18 vocational training and continuing education centers, 1 special education school and 1 vocational school for people with disabilities.
Apart from the four private high schools that were renamed and the vocational training and continuing education centers whose names were removed at the district and city levels, most educational institutions retained their names as they were before the provincial merger.
