Previously, the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order ( Ministry of Public Security ) held a ceremony to announce the pilot of a centralized digital signature portal on the VNeID electronic identification and authentication application platform. People can register for digital signature certificates on VNeID from May 22.

According to Ho Chi Minh City Police, this is an important step in digitizing data and administrative procedures, public services, as well as applying it to all current electronic transactions. The pilot implementation of the solution "Centralized digital signature portal on the VNeID electronic identification and authentication platform" contributes to promoting safe, effective and transparent electronic transactions, from public services, finance, trade to healthcare . This step by step builds a modern, safe digital society, with people and businesses at the center.

In order to ensure that 100% of transactions of "Digital citizens are identified, signed, authenticated, electronic contracts are identified, signed" in Decision 06, the Center for Research and Application of Population Data and Citizen Identification (under the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order) has coordinated with partners to research, develop and pilot the "Centralized Digital Signature Portal on the VNeID electronic identification and authentication platform".

Opening up breakthrough opportunities to promote digital transformation

Digital signature certificates are increasingly becoming an essential part of online public services. Instead of signing documents and submitting scans, users only need to "touch lightly" to complete the digital signature process right on their phones, saving time and ensuring legality.

With the VNeID application - the national digital identification platform developed by the Ministry of Public Security, registration, activation and use of digital signatures are integrated right in the main interface.

The centralized remote digital signature portal based on the VNeID electronic identification and authentication platform is not simply a technology project, but a highly applicable digital signature infrastructure platform. This application is designed to operate stably, securely and flexibly.

The goal is to effectively serve people, businesses and government agencies in the process of national digital transformation. Being assigned the responsibility of piloting the Centralized Digital Signature Portal on the VNeID electronic identification and authentication application platform is an honor and at the same time a great challenge, requiring continuous efforts.

The Ministry of Public Security also affirmed that building a centralized, synchronized digital signature platform closely linked to national electronic identification such as VNeID is not only a technological solution but also a key strategy, opening up breakthrough opportunities to promote comprehensive, safe, convenient and effective digital transformation on a national scale.
