Responding to participate in the National Press Award on the National Assembly and People's Councils

The Organizing Committee of Dien Hong Award recommends actively and proactively organizing the production, broadcasting, and posting of news, articles, and in-depth reports on the organization and activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils to participate in responding to the third Dien Hong Award - 2025.

At the same time, create conditions and encourage reporters and journalists to actively respond and participate in the third Dien Hong Award - 2025; send works in accordance with the Award Rules to the Organizing Committee within the deadline specified in the Dien Hong Award Rules (no later than November 20, 2024, according to the postmark ).

The National Press Award on the National Assembly and People's Councils (Dien Hong Award) is an annual award presented to outstanding press works on the National Assembly and People's Councils organized by the Office of the National Assembly in coordination with the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Vietnam Journalists Association , Vietnam Television, and the Hanoi People's Council.

The third Dien Hong Award contributes to improving the quality and effectiveness of information and propaganda work and raising people's awareness of the position, role, functions, tasks, organization and activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils; promoting propaganda work to bring the Party's resolutions, laws, ordinances, resolutions of the National Assembly, the National Assembly Standing Committee (NASC), and decisions of People's Councils at all levels into life.

The award aims to encourage and motivate reporters and press agencies to actively participate in propagating the activities of the National Assembly, National Assembly agencies, People's Councils at all levels, National Assembly deputies, and People's Council deputies at all levels; promptly reflect the thoughts and aspirations of voters and people to the National Assembly and People's Councils; at the same time, recognize and honor authors with excellent press works on the topic of elected agencies and elected representatives.

In addition, the third Dien Hong Award contributes to building the image of elected representatives with virtue and talent that meet standards, qualities, capacities, and qualifications; strengthening the cooperative and close relationship between elected agencies, elected representatives, and news agencies and press.

The award also aims to create favorable conditions for journalists and reporters to exchange experiences, improve their professional qualifications and skills, and exploit in-depth knowledge about the position, role, organization and operation of elected bodies in the political system.

Works participating in the Award must closely follow the Plan for organizing the third National Press Award on the National Assembly and People's Councils (Dien Hong Award) - 2025 and focus on reflecting the significance and results of the National Assembly's sessions, focusing on the 5th Extraordinary Session, 7th Session and 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

At the same time, it reflects the process and results of the implementation of the functions, tasks and powers of the National Assembly in the activities of constitution-making, legislation, supreme supervision and decision-making on important issues of the country; the significance and importance of the decisions of the National Assembly, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, People's Councils at all levels, especially newly issued decisions; and outstanding results in the supervision activities of agencies and elected representatives.

The works may reflect the foreign affairs activities of the National Assembly in implementing the foreign affairs policies of the Party and State, contributing to creating a peaceful and stable environment for national development and maintaining independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country; innovations and improvements to improve the quality and effectiveness of the activities of the National Assembly, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, the Secretary General of the National Assembly, the agencies of the National Assembly, the Office of the National Assembly, the agencies under the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, and People's Councils at all levels.

The entries also reflect the implementation of the function of guiding and supervising the activities of the National Assembly Standing Committee towards the People's Council; reflect on the position, role, process, results of performing tasks, powers and activities of the People's Council; innovations in the organization and operation methods of the People's Council; or reflect the thoughts, aspirations, recommendations and proposals of voters and people to the National Assembly and People's Council; and the contributions of voters and people in improving the effectiveness of the activities of the National Assembly and People's Council.
