The Dien Hong Award Organizing Committee requests active and proactive organization of the production, broadcasting, and publication of in-depth news articles and reports on the organization and activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils to participate in the third Dien Hong Award - 2025.
At the same time, create conditions and encourage reporters and journalists to actively respond to and participate in the third Dien Hong Award - 2025; submit works in accordance with the Award Regulations to the Organizing Committee within the deadline stipulated in the Dien Hong Award Regulations (no later than November 20, 2024, based on the postmark ).

The National Press Award on the National Assembly and People's Councils (Dien Hong Award) is an annual award given to outstanding journalistic works about the National Assembly and People's Councils, organized by the National Assembly Office in coordination with the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Vietnam Journalists Association , Vietnam Television, and the Hanoi People's Council.
The third Dien Hong Award contributes to improving the quality and effectiveness of information and propaganda work, and raising people's awareness of the position, role, functions, tasks, organization, and activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils; promoting the dissemination of Party resolutions, laws, ordinances, resolutions of the National Assembly, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, and decisions of People's Councils at all levels into life.
The award aims to motivate and encourage journalists and media organizations to actively participate in disseminating information about the activities of the National Assembly, its agencies, People's Councils at all levels, National Assembly deputies, and People's Council deputies at all levels; to promptly reflect the thoughts and aspirations of voters and the people to the National Assembly and People's Councils; and at the same time, to recognize and honor authors with outstanding journalistic works on the topic of elected bodies and elected deputies.
Furthermore, the third Dien Hong Award contributes to building the image of elected representatives who are virtuous and talented, meeting the standards, qualities, capabilities, and qualifications; and strengthens the cooperative and close relationship between elected bodies, elected representatives, and news agencies and the press.
The competition also aims to facilitate the exchange of experiences among journalists and reporters, enhance their professional skills and expertise, and gain in-depth knowledge about the position, role, organization, and operation of elected bodies within the political system.
Entries for the Award should adhere to the Plan for Organizing the Third National Press Award on the National Assembly and People's Councils (Dien Hong Award) - 2025 and focus on reflecting the significance and results of the National Assembly's sessions, particularly the Fifth Extraordinary Session, the Seventh Session, and the Eighth Session of the 15th National Assembly.
At the same time, it reflects the process and results of the National Assembly's performance of its functions, duties, and powers in constitutional and legislative activities, supreme oversight, and decision-making on important national issues; the significance and importance of the decisions of the National Assembly, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, and People's Councils at all levels, especially newly issued decisions; and the outstanding results in the oversight activities of elected bodies and representatives.
The works may reflect the National Assembly's foreign affairs activities in implementing the Party and State's foreign policy, contributing to creating a peaceful and stable environment for national development and maintaining national independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity; innovations and improvements aimed at enhancing the quality and effectiveness of the National Assembly, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, the Secretary General of the National Assembly, the National Assembly's agencies, the National Assembly Office, agencies under the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, and People's Councils at all levels.
The works submitted to the Award also reflect the implementation of the National Assembly Standing Committee's function of guiding and supervising the activities of the People's Councils; reflect on the position, role, process, and results of the tasks, powers, and activities of the People's Councils; innovations in the organization and working methods of the People's Councils; or reflect the thoughts, aspirations, suggestions, and proposals of voters and the people to the National Assembly and People's Councils; and the contributions of voters and the people in improving the effectiveness of the National Assembly and People's Councils.
