Iran's mission to the United Nations warned on social media on June 28 that if Israel launches "a full-scale military invasion" in Lebanon, "a war of destruction will ensue," according to Reuters.

The Iranian delegation also wrote that in such a case, "all options, including the full participation of all resistance fronts, are on the table."

In response, Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz said on June 29 that Iran's message of a "war of destruction" made the country worthy of destruction, according to Reuters.

“A regime that threatens destruction deserves destruction,” Katz wrote on X. Katz also wrote that Israel would use all its force against the Iran-backed Hezbollah force if it continued to fire at Israel from Lebanon and did not leave the border area with northern Israel.

Hezbollah and Israel have been fighting across their border almost daily since the Hamas-Israel conflict erupted in the Gaza Strip in October 2023. Concerns that the current conflict could escalate into a full-blown conflict between Israel and Hezbollah have increased after both sides exchanged bellicose rhetoric last week.

Faced with the above situation, the directors of two hospitals in northern Israel said they are on high alert for the risk of war breaking out in the north, according to The Times of Israel today, June 30.

Specifically, Galilee Medical Center Director Masad Barhoum and Ziv Hospital Director Salman Zarka said that their hospitals had stockpiled enough supplies to operate as "separate islands" for several days.

In it, Director Zarka asked the staff to prepare to go to the hospital quickly, bringing necessary personal items to be able to stay at the hospital.

“The level of readiness required of us has been high for nearly nine months, but now it looks like we will need to raise it even higher,” said Barhoum.
